I have made my initial submission for my Steam store page for the Race Wars project. It’s possible someone from Steam is reading this post as they review all the info I’ve included with it (including this website). *waves*
Artwork is not my forte, visual artwork I guess more specifically.
There is a good chance I have issues using this artwork, being that there are two cars featured that look somewhat similar to real life licensed cars.
I didn’t ask for these two cars to be used, being the untalented visual artist I am this was mostly made using generative AI, the prompt was two cars that look similar to 90s JDM icons.
But fate will determine whether A) Steam approves the page as it is, and then following B) Whether car manufacturers decide to take issue with little old me using their cars likeness to promote my game. A game which I am not even sure will be sold for money at this point, but that has cost me quite a large amount of money, and an exceptionally large amount of time.
I am intending to pull my finger out and start updating this site with more information from the development of the game, sharing my troubles and accomplishments.
